What to tell us when you call

• Your address and the nearest cross street.
• Where the water came from: a pipe, an appliance, rain, a toilet or drain, a roof.
• How long it has been there.
• Which rooms and floors are wet, and whether the ceiling or walls are wet.
• Whether the water is clear, cloudy or dirty.
• Whether you have shut off the water and the power to the wet area.
• Your insurance company, if you have already called them.
